Youth Baseball Camp




Welcome to Baseball Preseason 2023!  This baseball camp is designed for boys in grades K – 8 and is conducted by DAHS Head Baseball Coach Harold Olson and his staff.   Baseball skills that are needed by every player to be successful, build confidence, and to have fun will be taught.  Points of emphasis will include throwing and catching techniques, fielding, and hitting.


Camp will be held in the Main Gym at DeForest Area High School.  You may simply enter the gym through the PAC doors from the Circle Drive located on the west side of the high school near the main entrance. 


Sundays  MARCH 5, 12, 19, 26  Session formats are as follows:

“Rookie League”K – 1st Graders:  Noon – 12:55pm

“Minor League”:  2nd – 3rd Graders:  1:00pm – 1:55pm

“Major League”:  4th – 8th Graders:  2:00pm – 2:55pm

***Maximum number of campers per session will be capped at 32.***

What Should My Son Take to Camp? 

 Your son will need to have a glove, batting helmet, and bat for camp.  Fielding and hitting instruction will take place each week.


Simply complete the registration form at the Windsor/DeForest Community Baseball League  website: and make payment by credit card.  PLEASE PRINT, COMPLETE and SIGN the REGISTRATION WAIVER FORM at the bottom of this page and turn it in to camp on the first day or mail prior to camp to:

Cost:  $65  (No Refunds After February 1, 2023)

Helpful Reminders: 

  • Please, DO NOT bring baseballs of any kind to camp.  Baseballs will be provided for each session.  DO NOT wear spikes of any kind.  Gym shoes are recommended.  Wear loose clothing.
  • All campers must have their own health and accidental insurance.  Parents/Guardians must sign the release/waiver form and turn it into camp on day one or mail to Coach Olson order for your son to participate.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
